Hi there,
Last weekend Hostgator suddenly took my site down because it was using too much CPU.
I found this odd as I don't have that many visitors and I hadn't altered anything special.
Support looked into this for me and discovered that all of of my post revisions are saved as separate post entries in the wp_posts table.
"All of this information, at the time it's saved in the database, is counted toward this BYTES_RECEIVED mysql statistic for which the account was suspended."
My question now: what is causing this and how can I fix it?
Hostgator already suggested using a revision plugin, but I'd rather solve the problem at its core.
Thanks
