HI,
I'm at wit's end with trying to recover my wordpress installation. For some reason my site became un-hosted a few days ago. When I rehosted the site, the wordpress installation was broken. Frustrated I followed all the guides that I could find. My folder structure remained intact and my MySQL database were still there. I exported the database and imported it into a new one to preserve the original, changed the wp-config to redirect to the new database, and installed worpress again, but still no luck. Using phpMyAdmin I've noticed that the new install prepends different characters the the MySQL files. The original database had files like wp_5pckct_commentmeta and when i do the wordpress install it creates new files with these characters prepended wp_mp9rgc_commentmeta. I've tried using a text editor to find and replace the wp_5pckct with wp_mp9rgc and uploaded to new databases but that doesn't work either. At this point I'm out of ideas and would love for some insight as to how to fix this. In all the work I've done, I've preserved the original folders and database just to be safe. I'd love for the site to just be recovered from the last backup that i did before i updated to 3.5 back in December. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you!
