Hansaplastique on "[Plugin: Comment Notifier] PHP Error/Warning after approving comments ..."

I just upgraded my server to MySQL 5.6 (which came with recompiling Apache and PHP) and as of now I'm getting the following error messages when approving a comment:

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/comment-notifier/plugin.php on line 114

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/user/public_html/wp-content/plugins/comment-notifier/plugin.php:114) in /home/user/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-ajax-response.php on line 129

It doesn't seem to have any other negative side effect, just annoying for the Admin (it seems that way anyway). I'm using v 2.2.9, WordPress 3.9.1, and MySQL 5.6.
