Hello, currently I feel as if I have set up most of the basic functions of the .org version through the Mac application Bitnami. I have already configured the wp-config page, and am now attempting to manage my servers. MySQL Database will not run, and it is leaving me completely confused, and has stopped my progress completely in its tracks. If anyone can give me some tips regarding fixing MySQL Database, or informing me that it may not be set up properly at all, I would completely appreciate some feedback. My programming skills are limited, but I would still prefer to start my new page as a .org domain. Once again, any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
PS: If I'm making any noob ass mistakes, please don't refrain from making fun of me, I can take it, and would likely deserve it as well.
