It may be that there is a conflict between the slider and another plugin or it may be infected.
Obviously with your site's content, you need something to display your art. I suggest you either find a substitute for the slideshow or drop by the support site for the plugin located here:

I think you will like having Wordfence as a security plugin. You may want to keep it. I can suggest the rest of the option setting if you have any questions about them let me know.
