mfioretti on "One VPS, seven blogs: what is better, one or many MySQL databases?"

Greetings,

I have to reinstall from scratch 6/7 independent blogs, on a Centos 6 VPS.

Question is mainly about performance. Security-wise I'm sure it is better to have one separate database per blog. But I am wondering how much the difference in performance will be, of having 7 databases instead of one with seven sets of wp tables. Thoughts, optimization tips? Thanks
