I read Hardening Wordpress. It suggests: "If you administer MySQL yourself, ensure that you understand your MySQL configuration and that unneeded features (such as accepting remote TCP connections) are disabled." But nowhere can I find how to do that. It only links to sites outside Wordpress that use technical language way over my head about programming, and not on my subject. I assumed there must just be an option somewhere in phpMyAdmin to just disable the accept of tcp connections? But I can't find it anywhere. Should I have to spend the next 6 months studying programming to be able to disable this option, wherever it is?
