I am new to this.
I am currently self-hosting my website on wordpress.
I want to purchase a theme (from say themeforest.com). I was wondering if it would be possible for me to edit the PHP/MYSQL to fit my needs.
I also want to link the website to my mobile app with a chat module which updates in real time (through may be a 3rd party tool-JABBER).
Is all this possible to do on an existing theme? And how would i be able to do the web-service calls between the mobile app and website?
