Hi all, I am trying to run Wordpress for maxwellrushton.com off of a cpanel mysql database located on a different set of domains at antibang.com. Is this even possible?
If it is, I have been trying to use the mysql wizard in the antibang cpanel to install a fresh database and adding the data to wp-config. I get error establishing a database connection as standard. I am thinking it might be the 'localhost' setting that needs to be updated to a new mysql address but I dont know what that is? I am goign in the right direction here? If so, the cpanel on antibang is hosted on hostpapa, maybe one of you know the mysql settings or hostpapa. Anyhow \i am not great a t cpanel, help would be appreciated. I also cant figure out where the site is hosted from nominet whois? Otherwise I am considering transfering this domain to one.com. I was provided ftp details only. Whatr I am trying to do is transfer the WOrdpress setting from http://maxwellrushton.antibang.com/ to maxwellrushton.com, I am okay at Wordpress but this seems a bit beyiond me! Thanks guys for the pointers!
